Sammi joined the Great Western Animal Hospital team in June 2022, bringing with her over 13 years of experience in veterinary nursing. She holds a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing, a Diploma in Emergency and Critical Care, and is also Level 1 Fear Free certified.

With a strong passion for emergency and advanced patient care, Sammi thrives in the fast-paced environment of hospital nursing—helping our unwell patients on their road to recovery is where she finds the most reward. Her drive to make a difference in the lives of the animals we treat each day is what inspired her career in veterinary medicine.

No two days are ever the same at GWAH, and that’s exactly what Sammi loves. Whether it’s taking on a new challenge or providing comfort to a pet who’s not feeling their best, she’s always ready to lend a skilled and compassionate hand.

Outside of work, Sammi enjoys riding dressage horses and spending time with her fur family, including Zimmy the horse and Lilly, her beloved German Shepherd.

I'm always commited to furthering my education and one way I have done this is by achieving my Diploma in Emergency and Critical Care Nursing.
