Litter Microchipping
Microchipping provides permanent identification and is a legal requirement in NSW.
Under NSW law, puppies and kittens must be:
? Microchipped before sale or transfer, or
? Microchipped by 12 weeks of age (dogs) or 12 weeks of age (cats), whichever occurs first
Microchipping ensures each animal can be registered on the NSW Pet Registry and reunited with their family if lost.
NSW Breeding & Microchipping Requirements

This includes situations where required documentation is incomplete or breeding identification requirements have not been met.
