Certificate II Animal Care

Phillip joined the Great Western Animal Hospital team in 2024/2025 and is currently working toward his Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing, having already completed his Certificate II in Animal Care. With a keen interest in anatomy, triage and surgical procedures, Phillip brings curiosity, focus and a genuine love for animals to every shift, especially cats.

His passion for veterinary medicine was inspired by caring for his own senior cat and recognising how vital compassionate, knowledgeable care is for our ageing pets.

Phillip loves being part of the thoughtful and supportive GWAH team and appreciates the clinic’s commitment to fear-free handling. When he’s not at work, you'll find him immersed in PC games, following Formula 1 or customising tech, all while listening to Memphis rap and jungle drum and bass. At home, he’s kept company by his two cats, Alice and Isabel.
