Nurses Team

Jo joined the team at Great Western Animal Hospital in 2023 and has quickly become a valued member of our nursing team.

She holds a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing, along with additional training in advanced anaesthesia and captive wild animals, and a Bachelor of Science in Zoology. Jo has a strong passion for pathology but enjoys the variety that comes with all aspects of veterinary medicine.

For Jo, one of the most rewarding parts of her role is being a voice for animals and helping them recover so they can return home to their families. It’s this compassion and dedication that shines through in the care she provides every day.

She loves working at GWAH for the diverse caseload and the supportive, highly skilled team around her. Jo particularly values the opportunity to continue learning and growing, as well as the close friendships she’s built within the clinic.

Outside of work, you’ll find Jo hiking or playing tennis. At home, she has a brown and white tabby cat named Koa.
