Our Vets Team

Su Han joined the team at Great Western Animal Hospital in 2026 after completing his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2025. Following graduation, he undertook a competitive internal medicine internship at the North Shore Veterinary Specialist and Emergency Centre, where he spent a year managing complex medical cases and working alongside specialist teams.

This experience has given Su Han a strong foundation in clinical reasoning, case management, and evidence-based medicine. He is confident in working through more challenging cases and is passionate about delivering thorough, high-quality care for his patients.

Su Han has a particular interest in small animal clinical nutrition and enjoys helping pets live healthier, happier lives through tailored dietary and medical plans.

He was drawn to veterinary medicine for the unique opportunity it provides to work closely with both animals and their owners. He values being able to support not just his patients, but also the people who care for them, and strives to make every interaction a positive one.

Outside of the clinic, Su Han enjoys playing football (soccer), board games, and is an avid Pokémon collector. He jokes that Pokémon may have subconsciously influenced his path into veterinary medicine, and he still dreams of opening a Pokémon shop one day.

Su Han first spent time at GWAH during his final year placements and was drawn back by the supportive, team-focused environment. He describes the clinic as a place where genuine care for both patients and their families is at the heart of everything the team does.
