Our Vets Team

Lauren joined the Great Western Animal Hospital team in 2024. She completed her Bachelor of Veterinary Biology and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2019. She has a strong interest in all kinds of surgery and equally enjoys working up complex medical cases.

Lauren was drawn to veterinary medicine by the incredible bond between pets and their owners, and she finds it incredibly rewarding to play a part in helping animals recover and return to the families who love them.

Outside of the clinic, Lauren loves spending time with her husband and daughter, hitting the golf course, and relaxing at the beach. At home, she has a full house of furry companions: Kevin, a 3-year-old Cobberdog; Frankie, a 6-month-old Japanese Spitz mix; and Delilah, her 8-year-old tuxedo cat.

Lauren loves working at GWAH because of the amazing, motivated team and the shared commitment to making every pet's visit as pleasant and fear-free as possible.

Fun fact - Lauren is absolutely obsessed with big cats, especially lions, and has visited South Africa four times (and counting!).
