Great Western Animal Hospital
Reception and Client Relations Staff

Hudson Smith - Client Relations Manager
Hudson is the friendly voice that is usually on the other end of the phone line when you call us - he plays a very important role in keeping our vets in touch with their patient’s progress through follow up phone calls and will be able to help you out in many ways from making an appointment or enquiry to organising repeat prescriptions and giving advice on preventative healthcare products. He is also a very inventive and handy Man to have about the place!

Hi, I’m Hudson and I started at Great Western Animal Hopital in 2000. As I have watched my own children grow I have seen many changes at the hospital. I can proudly say I am excited to be a member of the Great Western Family with it’s mix of youthful energy and enthusiasm of our nursing and reception staff as well as the knowledge and experience of all our wonderful vets - and I can’t forget Leanne our fabulous groomer.

So come and meet my family, we are here 7 days a week for your convenience and if we can help please don’t hesitate to call us.

Kylie Pollack - Practice Administrator and Receptionist
Hello, my name is Kylie. I’ve worked at Great Western Animal Hospital since 2006 and am currently managing hospital administration and reception.
I have a keen interest in wildlife rehabilitation, especially hand rearing injured and orphaned birds.

I have a Bachelor of Science (majors in Animal Biology and Marine Studies) and have also completed a course on Veterinary Reception. I will shortly commence further studies on Practice Management.

My pets at home include a Labrador called Abbie and multiple birds including a very cheeky rainbow Lorikeet.

Mandy Townsend - Senior Receptionist

Hi, I’m Mandy. I started working at Great Western Animal Hospital in February 2000. I am now the senior receptionist at the hospital and love my job as it is very rewarding. I love puppies especially Chihuahuas so I feel I am in the right place of work! I also like talking to all our wonderful clients about their animals.
